Young explorers are invited to explore the secrets of the ocean depths with the awesome Deep Sea Submarine. The LEGO City deep-sea exploration team has spotted a mysterious treasure chest resting within a dramatic whale skeleton, but a huge, snappy shark is aggressively preventing them from reaching it. The set includes three minifiguresāa submariner and two scuba diversāall ready for the mission and equipped with assorted accessories. The main build is the submarine itself, which features large external ballast tanks, an opening hatch, and a unique glass bubble cockpit where the submariner can climb aboard. Once submerged, the powerful tilting thrusters propel the vessel through the water.
The submarine is equipped with advanced tools necessary for deep-sea work, including two robotic arms: one featuring a searchlight for illumination and the other ending in a grabber to retrieve objects. The environment includes the whale ribcage, which has an explore function, along with detailed seaweed, a small crab, and the enormous, threatening shark figure. Accessory elements crucial to the discovery are a crowbar, a camera, the mysterious treasure chest, five gold coins, a ruby, and a crystal. The thrilling adventure involves climbing aboard the submarine, exploring the deep ocean, entering the whale ribcage to discover lost treasure, all while watching out for the huge snappy shark.
