LEGO set 76453 is the Malfoy Manor, a substantial and detailed playset from the LEGO Harry Potter theme, which recreates the villainous base of operations from the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows films.

This set is comprised of 1,601 pieces and is designed to appeal to both collectors and fans aged 10 and up. It represents the first-ever official LEGO model of the Malfoy family home.

The build focuses on the intricate architecture of the manor's entrance gate and the detailed interior rooms crucial to the dramatic scenes from the final books:

• The Drawing Room: This is the manor's iconic central space, featuring a long dining table where the Death Eaters held court. A key play feature is the falling chandelier function, allowing builders to recreate the moment when Dobby the House-Elf destroys it during the escape.

• The Cellar/Prison: The lower level includes a cell built to imprison Harry Potter, Luna Lovegood, and Dobby, complete with two staircases leading to it from the main house.

• Other Rooms: The model also includes detailed interior recreations of Draco Malfoy’s bedroom, a kitchen, and a bathroom.

The set features a comprehensive cast of ten characters to fully play out the dark escape scene:

• Heroes: Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Luna Lovegood, and Dobby the House-Elf (who also has a special role in the falling chandelier function).

• Villains/Antagonists: Lord Voldemort, Bellatrix Lestrange, Draco Malfoy, Lucius Malfoy, and Narcissa Malfoy.
